What is a used or one trip container?

Used

A used container has been in service for many years, typically between 12-15, being used to transport goods and other cargo across the world. Once retired from their services they are sold for general public usage.

One Trip

A one trip (new) container is a container that has been used once to carry cargo from overseas to its destination. This is the newest container available in the United States.

What is the condition?

Used

Used shipping containers are not pretty. They have been stacked, patched, and loaded for many years. When your used container is delivered you can expect to see dings, dents, patches and rusty spots.

Despite their outward appearance, all of our containers are wind and water tight AND cargo worthy. This means we guarantee they will have functioning doors, solid floors, no holes or leaks, and be structurally sound.

Used containers are going to give you the biggest bang for your buck, and remember a fresh coat of paint can make a big difference.

One Trip

If visual appearance is high on your priority list, we suggest getting a one trip container. With a one trip (new) container you can expect it to look like-new with minimal dents, rust, or scuff marks. However, it is important to remember that this container has still been on a cargo journey and will have imperfections.
